Audio restoration is the process of removing imperfections such as hiss, impulse noise, crackle, wow/flutter, background noise and noise hum from sound recordings. It can be performed directly on the recording medium, or on a digital representation - the way we do it @ Sound Basha.

What format should I send my track in?
If the audio requiring restoration is a self recording, your file(s) should be uncompressed stereo with a bit depth of at least 16bit, ideally 24bit and a sampling frequency of 44.1kHz up to 96kHz. No pre-processing should be deployed, the file should be ‘raw’.

Otherwise, the file(s) supplied should simply be the one(s) you have, as is.

What would be delivered once finished and approved?
You would get a restored file in the following format
